- 2-3 cardamom pods
- 3-4 cloves
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp oil or ghee
- 2 cups water
- Fresh coriander leaves chopped (optional)
Instructions
Instructions:
- Heat oil or ghee in a pan or pressure cooker over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.

- Add the cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, and cloves to the pan and sauté for a few seconds.
- Add the green peas and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
- Drain the soaked rice and add it to the pan. Mix well and sauté for 2-3 minutes.

- Fluff the rice with a fork and transfer it to a serving dish.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves (if using) and serve hot with raita or curry of your choice.
